The 7th Annual Court the Arts is being held June 22nd and 23rd in Castle Rock, Colorado. Castle Rock, named for the prominent, castle tower-shaped butte near the center of town, is the county seat for Douglas County and is considered a commuter town with it being midway between Colorado Springs and Denver, CO.
Court the Arts is being held in the center of town on the Courthouse lawn. It has the traditional support of not only the community, but due to its location is visited by summer vacationers and those just out for a great summer day! Fine arts and crafts are exhibited by not only local artists but many from all around Colorado.
The 18th Annual Art in the Park festival is being held August 24th and 25th and is the major art event supported by the Parker Artists Guild. The festival is held at a great venue, O’Brien Park, located in the heart of Parker and showcases the works of some of Colorado’s finest artists. Fun event for visitors and residents with live music and food vendors.
Parker is also located in Douglas County with easy access to the Denver Metro Area and is known for its unique Western-Victorian downtown and hometown feel. The Town of Parker heavily supports art, with the Parker Arts, Culture, & Events Center (PACE), Schoolhouse Art Gallery, Wine Walks with Wine Glass painting, and is hosting its 2nd year of Final Friday Art Walks.
